SoFi Stadium seating guide

SoFi Stadium is the home of both Los Angeles NFL teams, the Rams and the Chargers, on the site of the old Hollywood Park racetrack in Inglewood. It opened on 8 September 2020, hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022 and was one of the venues of the 2026 World Cup. The map above shows the stadium set up for a Rams game: click a section and the view from that seat opens in 360°.

SoFi Stadium at a glance

The stadium seats 70,240 for football and can grow to more than 100,000 for the biggest events. A translucent canopy of 302 ETFE panels covers the bowl, while the sides of the building stay open to the air, so you are under a roof without being indoors. Hanging from that roof above the field is the Infinity Screen, a double-sided oval video board in 4K that both halves of the bowl can watch without turning round.

Because the screen does so much of the work, sections that would feel remote in an older stadium still follow the replays comfortably. Distance to the field is what really changes from one level to the next.

How the levels work

The football plan on this page has more than 500 sections, and almost all of them have a 3D view. The code of a section tells you where it is: the first digit is the level.

  • Level 1, the 100s and the 1E, 1N and 1W codes. Field level, closest to the action, with the team benches on the sidelines.
  • Level 2, the 200s. A low, wide ring that mixes numbered sections with lettered club and box areas along the sides and corners.
  • Levels 3 and 4, the 300s and 400s. The middle of the bowl. Higher up, with a complete view of plays as they develop.
  • Level 5, the 500s. The top of the stadium, furthest from the field and closest to the canopy and the screen.

Suites and premium spaces use their own letter codes. The few sections without a 3D view are all in that group.

Which seat to choose

For American football

Sideline sections near the 50-yard line show both ends of the field equally; the higher you go, the more of the formations you read. End-zone sections are cheaper and put you behind the goal line, which is great when the action is near you and distant when it is at the other end. Corners are the usual compromise.

For a concert

Concert layouts change from tour to tour: some shows put the stage at one end, others in the middle, and the field is filled with standing room or floor seats that do not appear on this football plan. Use the map for the fixed stands, which stay the same, and check the event’s own seating chart for the floor.

For soccer

A soccer pitch sits in the same rectangle as the football field, so the sideline advice still holds.

Accessibility

Wheelchair and companion seating is available on every level and at every price point; for most events you can buy it on Ticketmaster with the accessible-tickets filter. At least one companion seat sits right next to each wheelchair space. Priority elevators run in the four corners of the building, and mobility staff can arrange a wheelchair escort from the entry to your seat. Assistive listening devices are free at Guest Services, NFL games carry open captions on the ribbon boards, and two sensory spaces on Level 3 offer a quiet break, with noise-reducing headphones and sensory kits on loan. Service animals are welcome.

How to get there

On event days, Metro runs a stadium shuttle from LAX/Metro Transit Center, which is served by the C and K lines; the shuttle leaves from Bus Bay 8. Some local bus operators, such as GTrans, Torrance Transit and Culver CityBus, add express services. Rideshare drop-off is on Kareem Court, with pick-up at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard. If you drive, buy parking in advance: the site is split into colour-coded zones, each with its own entry gates, and lots open several hours before kick-off.
